What cookies are

We all heard the word cookie, but you, probably, already wondered what it really is. It is a tiny file a site stores in your browser. I run this blog alone, just me, no company. My site Daily Crypto Walkthroughs For New Users is a small personal project. Cookies help pages load and recall your visits.

Kinds you might see

Here is the plain list of cookies that may show up. I keep it simple: no fancy trackers. Basic ones for site function, maybe light stats. That's it.

Types on my blog
  • Basic cookies so the site works right
  • Maybe simple stats to see which guide you read

Why I use them

I use cookies to keep the blog fast and learn what helps you. For example, if a post on crypto taxes is popular, I write more like it. No selling, no spam. Just me trying to help newcomers.

Third-party cookies

Sometimes I embed a video or a tool from another site. Those outside sites may set their own cookies. I don't control those bits. They are separate from my blog. So watch your browser if you worry.

How to block them

You can turn cookies off in your browser. Open settings, find privacy, and delete or block. You will still read my crypto walkthroughs. It's your call, and easy to do. Sounds interesting? Let's go try!

Privacy and contact

For more on data I handle, see my Privacy page. I may update this note later if something changes. If you need to reach me, use the contact form on the site. No email, just the form. That's all for now.
